# BEMA Podcast Explorer privacy

BEMA Podcast Explorer has no user accounts, sign-in, profile database, newsletter form, or advertising tracker. The audio player uses browser local storage to remember the current episode, position, and speed. That state remains in the browser unless the user clears site data and is not used to build an account profile.

Search terms can appear in page URLs and are sent to the public API when transcript search is used. The hosted web and API infrastructure may process ordinary request information needed to deliver and protect the service, including IP address, user agent, path, timestamp, and response status. Do not put sensitive personal information in a search query or API request.

Episode pages link to and may load audio or resources from official BEMA, podcast platforms, transcript hosts, and media delivery services. Those services apply their own privacy practices.
