About BEMA Podcast Explorer

What it does

BEMA Podcast Explorer helps listeners find episodes by number, title, description, topic, guest, biblical text, season, and show-note content. Each episode page brings together its catalog metadata, listening links, and transcript access when a transcript is available. The project also offers a free public API and MCP server so developers and AI agents can perform the same discovery tasks through structured interfaces.

Catalog and sources

The episode catalog is generated from the public BEMA RSS and JSON feeds and checked into the application for deterministic, fast search. Episode results preserve official BEMA, Apple Podcasts, Spotify, and transcript links where those sources provide them. The explorer does not silently replace source attribution with its own.

Relationship to BEMA

This explorer is an independent, noncommercial project maintained byJohn Philip Morganin Austin, Texas. It is not an official BEMA Discipleship product and does not claim ownership of the BEMA Podcast, episode audio, show notes, or transcripts. Its purpose is to make the public catalog easier to search while directing listeners back to the official sources.

The canonical source repository is private and requires repository access. Public integration guidance and deployed machine-readable artifacts are available through the BEMA developer portal.
