BEMA Podcast Explorer privacy
The explorer is intentionally simple: it has no user accounts, sign-in, profile database, newsletter form, or advertising tracker.
Information in your browser
The audio player uses browser local storage to remember playback state, such as the current episode, position, and speed, so listening can continue across navigation or a later visit. That state stays in your browser unless you clear site data. The application does not use it to build an account profile.
Search and API requests
Search terms can appear in page URLs and are sent to the BEMA public API when transcript search is used. Like most hosted websites, the web and API infrastructure may process basic request information needed to deliver and protect the service, including IP address, user agent, requested path, timestamp, and response status. Do not put sensitive personal information into a search query or public API request.
External links and media
Episode pages link to and may load audio or resources from official BEMA, podcast platforms, transcript hosts, and media delivery services. Those services receive requests under their own privacy practices when you open a link or play hosted media. Review their policies if you need details about their data handling.
